Black and White Striped Drop Stitch Scarf

I prefer one color knitting, either pink, beige or blue.  To go with the “Maybe This Time song” theme, I had to to knit something new.  Knitting in black and white is completely new for me. Why? Because I think that knit stitches are barely visible in white and black yarn. Also, I don’t think they’re the most feminine colors.

I stepped up my knitting and started with a simple black and white striped scarf.  It’s too hot here in Los Angeles so I picked a loose drop stitch pattern with very little garter stitch.

  1. Most of the time I wear Indian pantsuits and tops and yeah, the colors are bright red, pink, green, or purple. I don’t remember buying black and white combinations. I like to knit with red yarn because it goes with any pale color top.
